Mooney M20E Super 21 – $60/hr dry

  • On the ramp (tie-downs) at Rocky Mountain Flight School on KBJC (Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport aka “Jeffco”
  • This 1965 Super 21 is a single engine 4 seater, low-wing, retractible plane. It has a Lycoming IO 360 fuel injected, 200 hp engine. Power Boost allows air to bypass the air filter and operate on ram air giving a few more ponies at clean air altitudes.
  • The landing gear is operated manually with a Johnson bar. The flaps are also operated manually with a pump lever actuating the flaps based on up, down switch.
  • 52 gallon tanks
  • Fuel burn 8 gph @ cruise 145+kts
  • Max gross weight 2575 lb, Cabin load with full (52 gal) fuel and oil is 570 lb.
